Plant Myself For Better Or Worse is a representation of the artists' current state of mind. Feelings of doubt, anxiety and fear are mixed with hopefulness and appreciation to adapt through the uncertainty and happenings of 2020. Slowly and steadily, the artist sews her hair into a plant, to be present in mind and spirit. This plant is created in reference to the lucky bamboo plant in Feng Shui, to symbolize growth, luck and strength.
